Woodland Sea Ranch
Woodlands Sea Ranch offers multiple options for guest budget and comfort.
We have a farm-style ambiance with chickens and dogs roaming freely.
The vegetable garden is 100% organic and guests are welcome to help themselves to our organic seasonal fare.
We're on the famous Chapmans Peak Drive, on the Noordhoek side where road becomes Noordhoek Main Road which is a busy tourist route en-route to Simonstown and Cape Point.
Guinea Fowl & Turtle Dove Cottages are together one of the houses on Woodlands Sea Ranch. Guinea Fowl side has a main bedroom with queen bed downstairs and a loft bedroom with 2 singles. There is a large fireplace for those winter stays. Old World finishes with brass and lots of character. Bathroom has a small style antique Victorian bath tub on legs and brass hand shower unit. This cottage is cute and comfortable and is fully self contained, perfect for a family of up to 4. The cottage is semi detached and on the other side, Turtle Dove we can accommodate extra people or more members of the same group taking Guinea Fowl Cottage. Turtle Dove has a 2nd bathroom with a toilet and standing shower. There is a bigger table for seated meals and another double bed with another two single beds in the loft and a cot can be set up on request. We can also put a 'toddler bed' with side rails in the cottage if required. There is a fireplace in this dining area too. All bookings will have access to both bathrooms and bedrooms on both sides irrelevant of the size of the group which makes for very spacious, comfortable living conditions for smaller families or groups. There is a peaceful private garden barbecue/relaxation area at the back with mountain views and superb sun downer evenings in front area with ample garden to enjoy. Farm style ambiance with chickens and wild birds resident in the trees. The cottage is perfect for private family vacation and for easy lock up and go to explore the beauty of the Southern Peninsula of Cape Town.
Other things to note
Woodlands Sea Ranch pride ourselves on our 2 acres of indigenous wild gardens and during winter months we do not use lawn mowers as this is the breeding period of the endangered Western Leopard Toad that frequents our gardens moving from pond to pond.
Water is heated by gas and must run slowly into the bath but used sparingly as we are currently experiencing a drought.
